Urban Emptiness Festival

The project is presented at Urban Emptiness Festival as a dance performance based on installation which also involves a walk to the urban area and interaction between people and environment. In this collaboration with Marianna Makri, the dancer is interacting vividly with the installation creating a tangible relationship while Nefeli Stamatogiannopoulou creates a soundscape improvisation. Through dance performance the artwork is becoming more alive, versatile and movable, extending both inwards and outwards.  Symbolically presented as "a carrier of history and tradition" it interweaves equally with the internal threads of the human body:  emboding the human memories of the past and at the same time transporting them into the present moment.
