Alexandra Pambouka (b. 1993) studied at the Department of Visual and Applied Arts in Florina Fine Art School and graduated from the MA programme “Cultural Policy and Development” of the Open University of Cyprus in 2019. Since 2016, her research (theory and practice) focus in basketry. She took part in relevant workshops in the UK, Cyprus and Portugal both as a student or as an educator. She has presented work in various group shows in Cyprus and abroad. Her visual artworks deal with natural or upcycled materials, using traditional techniques. Her object of interested is the relation of human to nature, tradition and rituality.
